Job summary

Wolseley is seeking a Warehouse Operative for night shifts in Melmerby. The role is full-time and permanent, 40 hours per week, on the night shift.

You’ll be involved in general warehouse tasks, picking and packing stock, loading and unloading vehicles, and potentially operating a FLT truck after training. The ideal candidate has FLT experience or licencing, works well in a team, and can move quickly and accurately to meet deadlines while maintaining health and safety standards in a busy

As a Warehouse Operative based in Melmerby you’ll be responsible for:

• General Warehouse duties.
• Picking and packing stock, which will involve some heavy lifting.
• Loading/unloading vehicles safely.
• Driving FLT Truck - Training may be provided.
• Ensuring the workplace is tidy and adheres to our health and safety procedures.

This is a full‑time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday on the night shift.
