Job summary

Wolseley is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Melmerby to support day-to-day warehouse duties. The role includes picking and packing stock, loading and unloading vehicles, and possibly operating an FLT truck with training provided.

You will work as part of a team to maintain a safe, efficient workspace and meet clear deadlines. The position is full-time, on-site, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, with a competitive salary and benefits such as annual leave and a pension.

Qualifications

• FLT licence preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to work in a team and meet deadlines.
• Able to lift heavy loads as required.

As a Warehouse Operative based in Melmerby you'll be responsible for:

• General Warehouse duties.
• Picking and packing stock, which will involve some heavy lifting.
• Loading/unloading vehicles safely.
• Driving FLT Truck - Training may be provided.
• Ensuring the workplace is tidy and adheres to our health and safety procedures.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday on the day shift
