Job summary

Bidfood UK in Bicester is seeking a Warehouse Operative (days) to pick customer orders, load deliveries and keep stock organised across ambient, chilled and frozen areas. You will join a supportive team, move stock with pump trucks and pallet trucks, and help ensure drivers leave on schedule and customers receive the service they expect.

This active role requires a positive attitude, good physical fitness and a commitment to safe, efficient warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse environments, including multi-temperature operations, is preferred but not essential.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on role with physical movement.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Loading vehicles ready for delivery.
• Organising and storing products safely and correctly.
• Using warehouse equipment safely, with full training provided.
• Moving stock using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and forklifts.
• Supporting colleagues to keep the warehouse running smoothly.
• Helping ensure drivers leave on schedule with complete and accurate orders.

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday
Shift times: 06:00 to 15:30

Play an important part in our journey

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll work across our ambient, chilled and frozen warehouse environments, helping to prepare customer orders for delivery.

Working as part of a supportive and hardworking team, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are in the right place at the right time, so our drivers can leave on schedule and our customers receive the service they expect.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same. If you like to stay busy and want to make a real difference behind the scenes, you'll fit right in.

What you'll be doing

• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently

• Supporting colleagues to keep the warehouse running smoothly
