Job summary

Bidfood UK is hiring a Warehouse Operative (days) at Newhouse Farm Road Industrial Estate, Chepstow NP16 6UD. Shift times are 06:00 - 15:30 with a total annual salary of £31,446.55.

You will pick orders, load deliveries, and handle goods across ambient, chilled and frozen areas, contributing to on-time departures for customers across the UK. You’ll work in a fast-paced, active environment, supported by a friendly team and full training on equipment use.

Qualifications

• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Warehouse or multi-temperature experience is helpful, but not essential.
• A good level of physical fitness, as this is an active role involving regular movement and manual handling.

• Picking customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Loading vehicles ready for delivery
• Organising and storing products safely and correctly
• Using warehouse equipment safely, with full training provided
• Moving stock using pump trucks, power pallet trucks and in some cases forklifts
• Supporting colleagues to keep the warehouse running smoothly
• Helping ensure drivers leave on schedule with complete and accurate orders

Play an important part in our journey

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll work across our ambient, chilled and frozen warehouse environments, helping to prepare customer orders for delivery.

Working as part of a supportive and hardworking team, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are in the right place at the right time, so our drivers can leave on schedule and our customers receive the service they expect.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same. If you like to stay busy and want to make a real difference behind the scenes, you'll fit right in.
