Job summary

DPD Group in Wolverhampton is hiring Warehouse Operatives for a fast-paced, physical role that keeps our premium delivery service on track. You’ll be on your feet all shift, loading, unloading, scanning parcels and using our systems to route orders accurately.

We provide full training from day one, uniform and PPE, and a benefits package including overtime, career progression, wellbeing support, and more. Working Monday to Friday, 15:00–21:00, you’ll join a team that values reliability and

• Maintaining health, safety, and cleanliness standards in the warehouse.
• Conducting quality checks and reporting discrepancies or damage.
• Collaborating with teammates to meet daily targets and shift goals.

Job Description

• Days of Work:Monday - FridayKeep your weekends for yourself!
• Hours of Work:15:00 to 21:00.

This is a fast-paced, physical role and you will be on your feet all shift. As a warehouse operative, you will be the backbone of our operation, playing a critical role in DPD continuing to deliver outstanding service.

Key Duties Include:

• Loading and unloading, scanning, and sorting parcels with precision and accuracy
• Handling items up to 25kg (who needs a gym membership when you can keep fit whilst you work!)
• Using our technology systems to ensure every parcel gets to the right place at the right time
• Operating warehouse equipment including scanners, conveyor systems, and handling equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and housekeeping throughout the warehouse environment
• Conducting quality control checks to verify parcel condition and accurate labelling andreporting any discrepancies, damaged items, or system issues to your supervisor promptly
• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily targets and shift objectives
• Adhering to attendance expectations and maintaining reliability throughout your shift
