Job summary

Rhenus Logistics in Cannock is seeking a Warehouse Operative to systematically process customer orders, pick/pack/label products for dispatch, and maintain high quality through scanning and inspections.

You will operate equipment, follow health and safety rules, and help keep the warehouse clean and organized. GCSE or equivalent education is required, with training provided for MHE as needed.

Qualifications

• GCSE or equivalent education is required.
• Strong attention to detail in processing orders and inventory.
• Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment or be trained where needed.

• Perform offloading activities and place items in designated areas.

• Systematically process individual customer orders per country.
• Pick/Pack/Label products per customer for dispatch to export standards in compliance with standard procedures.
• Carry out picking processes accurately and in line with customer requirements and established quality procedures.
• Unpacking and Scanning Books.
• Undertake quality checks.
• Ensure efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules, and schedules.
• General housekeeping, maintaining clean, safe and tidy work area free of rubbish and obsolete materials.
• Perform offloading activities e.g. empty pallets, consumables etc. and place in the designated area.
• Adhere to workplace health and safety rules when handling goods.
