Job summary

Ammega Group is seeking a Warehouse Operative in West Bromwich to accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders to meet delivery deadlines and quality standards.

You will assist with loading and unloading deliveries, receive and replenish stock, move and store products, and operate pallet trucks and forklift trucks safely.

Maintain a clean, organised working environment, support continuous improvement, work with colleagues to hit team targets, and follow Health & Safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders to meet delivery deadlines and quality standards.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries using safe manual handling techniques.
• Receive, check, and replenish stock from suppliers and group facilities.
• Move, store, and organise products within designated warehouse locations.
• Generate and process product and shipping labels using company computer systems.
• Operate pallet trucks and forklift trucks safely and effectively.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping to ensure a clean, organised and efficient working environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and adapt to a variety of warehouse processes and operational tasks.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team targets and customer expectations.
• Consistently follow company policies, procedures, and Health & Safety requirements, helping to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.
