Job summary

THX Ltd. is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative for the afternoon/evening shift in Great Barford, near Bedford. You will restock, pick, load and unload hire equipment, prepare new gear for the fleet, and maintain a tidy, safe warehouse while logging stock data.

You will join a close-knit team with on-site parking and pension benefits, and opportunities for training, including FLT licensing, to grow within a fast-expanding company.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience in a busy warehouse environment.
• Proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable working at pace in a physical role.
• Good attention to detail, even with repetitive tasks.
• Reliable and motivated team player.
• Safety-first approach to work.
• Strong time-management skills for safe, quick, methodical work.
• Comfortable using computers/handheld stock systems.
• Basic knowledge of warehouse safety standards.
• Problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Restocking and organising hire equipment across the warehouse and yard safely.
• Picking, loading and unloading equipment ready for dispatch.
• Preparing new equipment for the fleet — branding, tagging and logging it on our system.
• Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and safe.
• Recording accurate stock and equipment information on our system.
• Pitching in to support the Workshop and Transport teams when needed.
