Job summary

GXO Wakefield is recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our equipment management network supporting the cardboard and plastic recycling process for Morrison. This site is fast-paced with development opportunities, and offers a full-time, permanent role on an 5 days out of 7 shift pattern from 21:00 to 05:00.

You will load and unload vehicles, bale cardboard and plastic waste, keep the work areas tidy, and undertake other duties as designated by the line manager.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to learn.
• Adapt to a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely load and unload vehicles with customer equipment and waste.
• Safely bale cardboard and plastic waste.
• Keep all work areas hazard-free, clean and tidy.
• Perform other duties as designated by the line manager.

Here at GXO Wakefield, we are recruiting forWarehouse Operativeto join our fantastic team within our equipment management network. This warehouse supports the cardboard and plastic recycling process for one of the leading grocery supermarkets, Morrison.The site is a fast paced, diverse environment with plenty of development opportunities available.

You will be working on afull-time, permanent basis,on an any 5 days out of 7'pattern covering the hours between 21:00 - 05:00.

What you will do on a typical day:

• Accurately and safely load and unload vehicles with all customer equipment and waste arriving at the site
• Safely and efficiently bale cardboard and plastic waste
• Ensure a hazard-free zone by guaranteeing that all work areas are kept clean and tidy
• Undertake any other duties commensurate with the position as designated by the line manager
