Job summary

Lambert Engineering in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire, is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative. You will help move materials, goods and components efficiently through the site and to customers worldwide.

You’ll work with the Warehouse & Shipping Manager to maintain stock records, support despatch activities, and ensure safe, accurate handling and packing for domestic and international shipments. A full-time, permanent role with opportunities to contribute to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a warehouse, goods-in or despatch environment.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Picking and preparing components and materials for production builds.
• Loading and unloading deliveries and collections.
• Packing and preparing goods for domestic and international shipment.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and carrying out cycle counts.
• Moving materials safely around the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
• Supporting goods-in, warehouse and despatch activities.
• Ensuring products are stored correctly and protected from damage.
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety and organisation.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.

We're looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a growing manufacturing business where you'll play a vital role in ensuring materials, components and finished goods move efficiently throughout the business and to our customers worldwide.

Working closely with our Warehouse & Shipping Manager and wider warehouse/production teams, you'll help maintain accurate stock control, support production requirements and ensure customer deliveries are despatched safely and on time.

What You'll Be Doing
