Job summary

2i Recruit Ltd in London is seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to join the team. This is a hands-on role combining driving, warehouse operations, stock management and customer-facing responsibilities to support daily logistics.

Experience with loading/unloading high‑value items, deliveries and stock control is essential. A full UK driving licence is required, and training on internal systems will be provided to help you contribute effectively to the team.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence with a clean record.
• Experience driving medium-sized vans is preferred.
• Physically capable of moving heavy items and standing for long periods.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn inventory software.

Responsibilities

• Safely loading, transporting and unloading high‑value items using a company vehicle.
• Carrying out deliveries, collections and installations while delivering excellent customer service.
• Logging incoming and outgoing stock and maintaining accurate inventory records.
• Liaising with colleagues regarding damaged, missing or delayed items and updating stock records.
• Organising and maintaining warehouse stock, ensuring items are stored safely and efficiently.
• Assisting with stock movements, inventory checks and preparation of goods for dispatch.
• Completing delivery paperwork, mileage records and other administrative tasks accurately.
• Carrying out routine vehicle checks and reporting any maintenance issues.
• Arranging additional transport where required to meet operational needs.
• Supporting the wider team to ensure daily operations run smoothly and efficiently.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Previous warehouse, logistics or stock management experience would be advantageous.
• Basic IT skills, including Microsoft Office and email systems.
• Ability to learn new inventory management software and systems.
• Professional, reliable and trustworthy approach to work.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Good problem‑solving skills and ability to work calmly under pressure.
