Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment seeks an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative in Sturminster Newton. The role is full-time with a pay rate from £12.71 per hour up to £13 per hour depending on experience (DOE). You will join a distribution team handling orders to exact specifications and supporting loading/unloading of goods.

Applicants must have warehouse experience, strong numeracy, and good computer skills. Owning a forklift licence is desirable. Transport is essential due to site location.

• Identify and locate different products using measuring equipment; keep areas clean.

Warehouse Operative | from £12.71ph up to £13ph DOE | Sturminster Newton

As a full-time Warehouse Operative working within a distribution business, you'll be responsible for supplying high-quality products to customers. You'll be part of a team of operators processing customer orders to exact specifications.

Due to the company's location, owning your own transport is essential for this role!

As aWarehouseOperativeyour responsibilities will include:

• Picking and collating orders, unloading and loading lorries


• Move materials from storage using forklift trucks


• Assist across the site with the loading and unloading of materials


• Working as part of a team as and when orders are generated.


• Collating orders, including banding, palletising, bagging and preparing them for loading.


• Identify and locate different products using appropriate measuring equipment


• Keeping work areas clean and tidy

As aWarehouseOperative, you'll have:

• The ability to work at a fast pace whilst maintaining a high level of accuracy


• Experience working within a warehouse


• Good computer skills


• Ideally Forklift licence or experience


• Excellent numeracy skills
