Job summary

Resource Recruitment is partnering with a busy distribution centre in Wimborne to recruit a Warehouse Operative on a permanent/temporary basis. The role is based in Sturminster Marshall, Dorset, and involves dispatching orders, receiving deliveries and stock control.

You will work in a team of eight, with 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, and require previous warehouse experience, strong attention to detail and computer literacy including warehouse software and handhelds.

Job Type: Temporary - Permanent

Salary: £12.71 per hour / £508.40 per week / £26,436.80 per annum

Hours: 40 hour per week; Monday - Friday 8.30am to 5pm

A busy distribution centre based in Wimborne is seeking to add to their team with an additional Warehouse Operative to work on a permanent contract with the business.

Working within a team of 8 you will be involved in all aspects of dispatching orders, receiving deliveries, and managing stock. The role requires a confident, hands-on individual who has previous experience working within a fulfilment warehouse environment.

Responsibilities include;

• Pick and pack orders.
• Receive incoming deliveries, unpack pallets, and containers.
• Check incoming deliveries, repack, and label for accurate store away.
• Replenish stock locations and move goods between stock locations.

The successful applicant will possess;

• Previous experience in a warehouse environment
• Attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy required across a variety of tasks.
• Good timekeeper and organised work style
• Computer literate and experience using warehouse management software and handhelds.
