Job summary

Holt engineering, based in Cannock, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to support a growing manufacturing operation. The role focuses on picking/packing, goods in/out, stock housekeeping and strict inventory controls in a busy warehouse environment.

You should bring warehouse experience, familiarity with inventory systems (SAP preferred), good organisation and time management, and a forklift license is advantageous. The position is based in Cannock with standard daytime hours.

Holt engineering are working with an innovative manufacturing company based in Cannock, who are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team.

Responsibilities for the Warehouse Operative:

• Picking and packing
• Booking goods in and out
• putting stock into correct areas of the warehouse
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
• Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers
• Operate and maintain preventive warehouse vehicles and equipment
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures To be successful for the Warehouse Operative:
• Previous warehouse experience essential
• Proficiency in inventory software, databases and systems ; preferably SAP
• Good organisational and time management skills
• Ability to understand safe lifting practices
• Current forklift license (Preferable, not essential)

Working Times Monday to Friday:

Hours - 8am - 4:30pm overtime available at a higher rate Pay rate - £12.71 PH Drug screening is required on all successful applicants You must have the right to work in the UK to be submitted for this role
