Job summary

The Thrive Group is recruiting a Warehouse Operative in Skelmersdale on behalf of a client. The role includes order picking, following pick notes, and a focus on accurate documentation. Training for FLT will be provided for the right candidate.

Hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00am–5:00pm and Friday 8:00am–2:30pm, with an early finish every Friday. Salary is £12.71 per hour, with in-house training and development opportunities available.

Qualifications

• Excellent English language skills (verbal and written) to read pick notes and communicate with colleagues.
• Good attention to detail to pick orders accurately.
• Able to lift items and perform manual handling.
• Reliable, positive attitude and able to work in a team.

Job description

Thrive Group Bolton are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operatives on behalf of our client based in Skelmersdale. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable, motivated individual to join a busy warehouse team, with full in-house FLT training and certification provided for the right candidate.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include:

• Picking customer orders accurately in line with pick notes.

• Reading and understanding picking documentation to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly.

• Communicating effectively with colleagues to support the smooth running of warehouse operations.

• Must be okay with lifting products up to 20kg

• Handling products safely and maintaining a tidy and organised working environment.

• Undertaking FLT training and certification, if required, following successful selection.

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

• Friday: 8:00am - 2:30pm

Enjoy an early finish every Friday!

Pay Rate

£12.71 per hour

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

• Excellent English language skills, both verbal and written, to communicate effectively with colleagues and accurately read and understand pick notes.

• Good attention to detail and the ability to pick orders accurately.

• A reasonable level of physical fitness, as the role involves regular order picking and manual handling. A very small proportion of products (less than 1%) may weigh up to 20kg.

• A reliable, positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.

• A willingness to learn new skills and undertake in-house FLT training and certification.
