Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a flexible Warehouse Operative for our GXO People Campus across Greenford. The role offers direct GXO employment with guaranteed hours and the variety of working across different customer sites in the local area.

You will support operations for major brands including Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Micheldever, and Greene King. The position is a 6-month fixed-term contract, part-time with 22.5 hours a week and weekend coverage.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience or forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
• Able to work in a team and follow instructions.
• Physically able to handle stock and operate equipment safely.

Looking for a flexible warehouse role with variety and opportunity?

GXO People Campus is expanding its team of Warehouse Operatives across Greenford. People Campus is a dedicated GXO team that supports multiple customer sites within the local area, offering the variety of working across different locations with the security of a direct GXO contract and guaranteed hours.

Supporting operations including Waitrose, Sainsbury's, Micheldever, and Greene King, you'll play a key role in busy warehouse environments where teamwork, safety, and customer service are essential.

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract. Please note, this is not an agency role; you will be employed directly by GXO as part of our People Campus team.

Shift Pattern

This is a part-time role, working 22.5 hours per week on a fixed-term six-month contract.

The role will primarily focus on weekend coverage, with shift patterns scheduled between Thursday to Monday.

Available shift patterns include:

• 06:00 - 14:00
• 14:00 - 22:00
• 00:00 - 08:00

• Unsociable hours premium of £2.89 per hour for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00

What you will do on a typical day:

• Picking, handling stock accurately and efficiently

• Able to work well in a team and follow instructions
• Reliable, self-motivated, and flexible in approach to work
• Capable of reading instructions and counting accurately
• Physically able to handle stock and use equipment safely
• Previous warehouse experience or forklift licence is desirable but not essential
