Job summary

GXO Logistics in Leyland is seeking a Warehouse Operative on a permanent basis. You will work any 5 days out of 7, from 06:00 to 14:00, in a fast-paced, chilled environment supporting the picking of customer orders.

No experience is required as training will be provided, making this a great entry point into logistics. You will use our warehouse management system and 'pick by voice' technology, follow health and safety policies, and enjoy benefits including an on-site gym, staff shop and pension.

Qualifications

• Willingness to work shifts and adapt to peak seasons.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Our Warehouse Operatives work in a chilled environment and support in the picking of customer orders
• You’ll operate manual handling equipment in a safe manner
• You will utilise the warehouse management system and ‘pick by voice’ equipment
• Ensure that all health & safety practices are followed in line with company policies
