Job summary

Impact Recruitment has a long-term temp role for Warehouse Operatives at a major clothing brand's distribution centre in Swan Valley, NN4 Northampton. Work is ongoing with potential to go permanent, and full training is provided.

Roles involve unloading, picking and packing, labeling, moving pallets, and manual handling up to 20kg. You'll work rotating shifts across three patterns; there is weekly pay, paid lunch, and overtime at enhanced rates. Immediate start available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in a warehouse would be an advantage, but full training is provided.
• Ability to work all three shift patterns as described; reliability is essential.

Responsibilities

• Unloading boxes on the conveyor onto courier vehicles or pallets.
• Picking and packing of clothing.
• Sealing boxes and labeling for despatch.
• Moving pallets using pump truck.
• Manual handling up to 20 kg and labeling for despatch.
• Inputting load quantities and courier name onto spreadsheet.
• Housekeeping to ensure high hygiene levels across shifts.
• Attention to detail and accuracy; work solo or in a team.

We are looking to recruit Warehouse Operatives for our Prestigious client based in Swan Valley, NN4 Northampton, on a long term, ongoing basis (Not just until Christmas). This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading, global clothing brand at their Northampton distribution centre.

Pay

£12.71 per hour up to 40 hours (paid 30 Minute lunch) with overtime paid at an enhanced rate.

£12.71/hr for hours worked between 07.00am-18.00pm

£14.62/hr for hours worked between 18.00pm-22.00pm (Enhanced Evening rate)

£19.07/hr after 40hrs worked

After 40 hours – Saturday 1200pm onwards and Sunday - £25.42 per hour (Overtime Rate)

Hours

Rotating shift pattern as follows – You MUST be able to work all of the below hours/Shifts.

• Week 1 - 07:00am-15:00pm, Monday to Friday (No weekends)
• Week 2 – 07:00am-15:00pm, Monday to Saturday with one day of during the week
• Week 3 – 14:00pm-22:00pm, Monday to Friday (No weekends)

Job Duties & Person Spec

• Previous experience working in a warehouse would be an advantage, but full training is provided.
• unloading boxes on the conveyor onto Courier vehichles or onto pallets.
• Picking and Packing of clothing
• seal boxes and label them
• Move pallets using Pump Truck
• Manual Handling boxes upto 20kgs and labelling for Despatch
• Inputing load quantities and courier name onto spreadsheet on PC
• Perform housekeeping duties to ensure high hygiene levels for all shifts.
• Good attention for detail and accuracy is required
• Ability to work alone or as part of a team
• Multi-skilled across goods in/out, dispatch, VAS returns and pick / pack departments.

Unfortunately no part time hours or temporary student applications will be accepted, all candidates must be able to attend all hours on the 3 shift rotation, no exceptions.
