Job summary

We Are Workforce Ltd is hiring a Warehouse Operative in Northampton to join a fast-paced team. You will pick orders using voice technology, load/unload vehicles, rotate stock and follow standard procedures to ensure quality and safety.

The role offers full-time hours with day and night shifts, enhanced overtime and a friendly, supportive team environment. Training is provided and onsite parking is available.

Qualifications

• Relevant warehousing experience is desirable.
• A good standard of literacy and numeracy skills.
• A positive thinking and self-motivated individual.
• An effective team member who works well on their own initiative.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.

Responsibilities

• Pick orders using voice technology.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound vehicles.
• Rotate stock and check date codes.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, risk assessments and PMS.
• Maintain quality control to meet customer and product standards.
• Uphold hygiene and environmental standards (clean as you go).
• Operate equipment efficiently to meet required output.
• Replenish materials as needed.
• Support and deliver job-related training to colleagues.
• Communicate effectively within and outside the department.
• Carry out other reasonable duties as required.

Shift Pattern:

• Saturday to Wednesday 06:00-14:30
• Tuesday to Saturday 06:00-14:30

Key Responsibilities:

• Pick orders using voice technology.
• Load and unload inbound and outbound vehicles.
• Rotate stock and check date codes.
• Follow SOPs, work instructions, risk assessments and PMS.
• Maintain quality control to meet customer and product standards.

Pay Rates (Weekly Pay):

Day rates apply between 4:00-18:00:

• Mon–Fri: £12.71 (OT after 40hrs: £19.07)
• Saturday: £15.89
• Sunday: £19.07
• Bank Holidays: £25.42

Night rates apply between 18:00-04:00:

• Mon–Fri: £15.63 (OT after 40hrs: £21.99)
• Saturday: £18.81
• Sunday: £21.99
• Bank Holidays: £28.34

Note: Pay may vary within a shift depending on exact hours worked.
