Job summary

Catering is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Corby to join a leading logistics partner serving fashion and lifestyle brands. You will work on AM/PM shifts or nights, operating FLT equipment and using scanners to pick items while adhering to strict safety standards. Physical tasks and high racking height are involved.

The role offers permanent employment, full training, on-site parking, and regular engagement events. Immediate starts are available and basic training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Accurately picking items using hand-held scanners; racking is 18m high.
• Operate FLT (HLOP, PPT) equipment and follow safety rules.
• Move palletised goods to correct locations.
• Perform manual duties such as picking, replenishment and handballing.
• Assist with loading/unloading delivery vehicles and conduct daily safety checks.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and comply with site requirements.

We are currently recruiting for Warehouse roles in Corby, this is for our client that isa leading international logistics partner, specialising in supply chain solutions for a variety of brands within the fashion and lifestyle sector.

Details

Hours

• AM– Monday to Friday, 08:00am to 16:00pm,PM16:00pm to 00:00am ROTATING, (2 weeks of AM and then 2 weeks PM)
• Or Nights Monday 00:00am to Friday 0800am, Fixed

Rate of Pay

AM: £14.48, PM: £15.37

Requirements of a Warehouse Operative

• Experience working in a busy warehouse environment
• Ability to work at height for long periods of time – 18m high
• Basic numeracy and literacy skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to be able to lift items that can be up to 32kg in weight.

Duties of a Warehouse Operative

• Accurately picking items using hand-held scanners using FLT equipment – please note, the racking in the warehouse is 18m high.
• Securely operate FLT (HLOP, PPT) equipment and adhere to strict health and safety rules on site
• Moving palletised goods around the warehouse to the correct locations
• Manual duties such as picking, replenishment and handballing
• Support with loading and unloading delivery vehicles
• Perform daily safety checks on equipment before usage
• General housekeeping duties to maintain a clean working environment
• All work undergone is physically demanding due to the nature of the environment
