Job summary

Impact Recruitment is seeking a Production Operative to join their team in Northampton NN4. A hands-on role in a production environment, temp-to-perm opportunity with modern facilities.

Shifts Monday to Friday, 10am–7pm. Pay £13.00/hour, with overtime: £17.96/hour after 40 hours Mon-Fri, £20.25/hour on weekends, and £27.00/hour on bank holidays. Free meals, parking, and training provided.

Qualifications

• Able to read from pick sheets.
• Competent in taking measurements.
• Able to pack and palletise stock.
• Experience with pump trucks or pallet movement.
• Proficient with hand tools.
• Understanding of basic assembly.
• Prepare items for despatch.
• Maintain high hygiene levels.

Responsibilities

• Read pick sheets and prepare orders.
• Pack and palletise stock for despatch.
• Move pallets using pump trucks and pallets.
• Assist with basic assembly and tooling as required.
• Keep work areas clean and maintain hygiene standards.

As The Ideal Candidate, You Will Be Expected To

• Ability to read from Pick sheets
• Competence of Measurements
• Comfortable packing and palletizing stock
• Use of pump trucks to move pallets across the warehouse
• Comfortable using hand tools, such as mallets and screwdrivers
• Understanding of basic Assembly
• Preparation of items for Despatch
• Perform housekeeping duties to ensure high hygiene levels for all.
