Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. at the Jollyes site in Middlewich is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team on a full-time, rotating shift pattern. You will handle picking, packing, goods receipt, dispatch and stock relocation while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Candidates should hold Reach and Counterbalance licences; LLOP and PPT licences are a plus. The role offers a competitive hourly rate and comprehensive benefits in a dynamic logistics environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out warehouse duties including picking, packing, stock relocation, goods receipt, unloading, and dispatch.
• Operate warehouse equipment and manual handling using MHE: Reach Truck, Counterbalance, LLOP and PPT.
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and organised warehouse with stock control, housekeeping and site maintenance.
• Follow health and safety procedures, company policies and standards in a fast-paced shift-based role.
• Experience in warehouse work and rotating shifts.

Job description

• Carry out a variety of warehouse duties, including picking, packing, stock relocation, goods receipt, unloading vehicles, and dispatching products to a high standard
• Operate warehouse equipment and perform manual handling tasks, with experience using MHE, including Reach Truck, Counterbalance, LLOP, and PPT equipment
• Maintain a safe, efficient, and organised warehouse, supporting stock control, stocktaking, housekeeping, and general site maintenance activities
• Follow all health and safety procedures, company policies, and operational standards, while working effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment and shift-based role
• Experience of working within a warehouse/relevant industrial experience and shift work
• A Reach and Counterbalance Licence
• Experience of LLOP and PPT/Licence

This is a full time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern of 06:00 to 14:00 and 14:00 to 22:00.
