Job summary

Bucks and Berks Recruitment is seeking a Warehouse Operator for an award-winning manufacturer, responsible for moving goods, picking/packing, stock checks, and maintaining records to support efficient operations in a busy facility.

The role requires forklift experience, reliability, and good timekeeping. Shift options are 7:00–15:30 or 10:30–19:00. Benefits include overtime, healthcare, Christmas shutdown, cycle-to-work, on-site parking, and life insurance.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our client, an award-winning manufacturer renowned for quality, innovation and exceptional customer service, is growing and looking for a motivated Warehouse Operator to join their busy and friendly team.

As a Warehouse Operator, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of goods throughout the warehouse and manufacturing facility.

The successful candidate will have experience in a similar environment and be physically fit as there will be heavy lifting and carrying of products.

Shift Pattern: 7:00 to 15:30 or 10:30 to 19:00.

Duties include

• Ensure the accurate and efficient movement of goods within the warehouse.
• Stock counts, and also checking for damaged or missing items
• Picking and packing orders ready for dispatch
• Responsible for storing goods appropriately
• Ensure all documentation and records are accurately maintained, updated regularly, and comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Work collaboratively as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain high standards of quality and adhere to safety protocols at all times.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse operations.

Skills/Experience

• Experienced in Forklift driving
• Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work.
• A positive, can-do attitude with strong timekeeping and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and able to thrive under pressure.
• A team player who can also work independently when needed.
