Job summary

FDH Aero in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse Operative to help manage storage, distribution and stock accuracy. You will follow safety procedures, inspect materials and update inventory records.

You will operate handling equipment, pick items for dispatch, and collaborate with teams to ensure smooth operations. A high school diploma and warehouse experience are expected; aerospace experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing setting.
• Aerospace industry experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, sort, and organize shipments of materials
• Inspect incoming materials for compliance with regulations and specifications
• Record shipment details and update inventory systems
• Store and secure materials in appropriate locations
• Select and pick items for dispatch to customers or production areas
• Pack, label, and prepare items for shipping
• Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, or hoists
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counts
• Collaborate with other warehouse staff, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to ensure smooth operations
• Follow company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned
