Job summary

FDH Aero is a trusted global supply chain partner for aerospace and defense, with 60+ years in the industry and 14 country locations. We seek a detail-oriented logistics professional to own consignment stock management, demand capture, and reporting for 1500 SKUs, coordinating with Sales, Procurement and Operations to ensure timely replenishment and accurate usage data.

You will drive MRP-driven inventory control, maintain safety stock, and liaise with freight forwarders to optimise shipments.

Qualifications

• Data analysis skills and reporting capability are essential.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic MRP concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or mathematics or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage all business demand from Sales, New Business and stock replenishment.
• Monitor 1500 products SKUs and ownership of the customer consignment process.
• Coordinate usage reports with customers and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain FIFO stock rotations and safety stock with Purchasing.
• Serve as focal point for contractual customers and ensure high service levels.
• Adjust stock levels in the MRP system and perform cycle counts at remote sites.
• Process usage reports from consignments and invoice monthly usage.
• Organise replenishment orders for consignments and negotiate freight methods.
• Support all logistics requirements within the operations group.

We Are Looking For

You will be responsible for ensuring all business demand requirements have been captured from Sales / New Business Opportunities, Consignment Stock and general stock replenishment, monitoring 1500 different products SKU’s. Ownership of the Customer Consignment Process, liaising with the customers to ensure usage reports are sent every month, resolving any discrepancies, stock reservations and ensuring stock rotations are carried out adopting a FIFO policy. This role will work across Procurement, Sales & Operations. Ultimately, you should have a flexible working attitude and able to work under tight deadlines.

What You’ll Do (Responsibilities)

• Understanding the contractual demands and analysing ad-hoc vs consignment parts
• Proactively create customer reports based on parts usage and new demands
• Working with the Purchasing team to ensure safety stock levels are maintained
• Being a focal point for the contractual customers whilst ensuring customer service is maintained at the highest level
• Constantly working on the MRP function and adjusting the stock levels where required
• Maintaining inventory related tasks such as reserving and unreserving stock, recording expiry dates, correcting stock balances and performing cycle counts at remote sites
• Receiving and reconciling usage reports from consignment customers
• Invoicing consignment customers with monthly usage
• Organising replenishment orders for each of the consignments
• Negotiating with freight forwarders to source the best method of shipment to the destination.
• Assisting all other logistical requirements within the operations group
