Job summary

GXO operates a large-scale warehouse in Dunstable, offering a full-time, permanent role with a 4 on 4 off pattern and night hours from 19:00 to 07:00. You will be part of a busy team, performing unloading, scanning, sorting and marshaling activities to keep outbound delivery on track.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience would be beneficial.
• Good attention to detail and the ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team.
• A Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence would be advantageous, but isn't essential.
• Previous Class 2 driving or vehicle-shunting experience would be a bonus, but isn't a requirement for the role.

Responsibilities

• What you'll do on a typical day: unload, scan, sort and marshal sealed totes, ready for outbound delivery.
• Reload totes for delivery and organise empty equipment for return to the supplier.
• Handle totes that may be free-standing, palletised or moved on dollies, depending on stock origin.
• Complete general warehouse duties, including supporting on-site vehicle shunting where trained and authorised, while keeping the operation safe and organised.
