Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Operative at our Preston Brook site near Runcorn to perform picking, loading/unloading and operating FLT with RF systems. You will complete daily paperwork and help meet site KPIs while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 20:00–06:00, with a 48-hour week and a 25% night shift allowance. We offer comprehensive benefits and training to support your development within a diverse, inclusive team.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of warehouse tasks including picking, loading/unloading vehicles, and operating FLT and pallet trucks using RF systems, while adhering to safe manual handling practices
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time, such as returns manifests and daily driver records
• Ensure operational standards and customer service requirements are met by achieving site KPIs and maintaining high quality performance in all activities
• Carry out housekeeping where required upholding site standards while following Health & Safety guidelines Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided
• Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills while working as part of a team
• A strong focus on safety and reliability, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands and shift patterns
• Experience operating MHE or holding valid certificate of competence would be an advantage, but not essential

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on a Monday to Friday pattern, covering the hours of 20:00 to 06:00, contracted to 48 hours per week.
