Job summary

Gap Personnel is recruiting Warehouse Operatives for our client site in Corby (NN17). This is a full-time role with rotational shifts from 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00, five days out of seven, including weekends.

Responsibilities include picking items guided by a handheld scanner, locating stock, packing, and moving stock to packing areas for distribution. Previous warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment is preferred, with full training provided to successful candidates.

• Full training provided to new hires.

Responsibilities

• Pick items from locations using a handheld scanner.
• Locate stock on the warehouse shelves.
• Pack items and move stock to the packing area for distribution.
• Send stock items to the packing area after picking.
• Maintain accuracy of stock quantities throughout the shift.

Gap Personnel is seeking Warehouse Operatives to join the team at our client location in Corby (NN17)

Warehouse Rotational shifts (This role is FULL TIME only)

Location: Corby (NN17)

The Role:

• Workers will be required to work in a fast-paced warehouse.
• The role will include picking items from locations guided by a hand-held scanner, Candidates will locate the stock isle, pick the correct stock, use a hand-held scanner to scan the item barcode & pack item.
• Tipping a container and checking stock quantities are correct. Moving all stock to a designated location and picking items to be delivered to stores.
• Once all items are picked, candidates will be required to send the stock items to the packing area ready for distribution.
• Full training given however due to the nature of the work and the fast-paced environment; we are looking for candidates to have previous warehouse or equivalent experience in a fast-paced environment.

Salary

Salary AM: £13.44 , PM: £14.84

Hours of work as a Warehouse Operative:

• Rotational shift: 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 shift.
• Working 5 days out of 7 – must be flexible and able to work weekends.
