Shifts are Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm, paying £13.00 per hour. The ideal candidate is reliable, detail-oriented and comfortable using scanners and warehouse tech.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse or logistics is desirable but not required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to high standards.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy when handling parcels.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment.
• Scan packages using barcode scanners and warehouse systems.
• Weigh parcels and complete quality checks for correct labeling and packaging.
• Sort packages into correct categories and outbound areas.
• Process oversized and non-conveyable items manually.
• Use laptops and warehouse technology to manage parcel information.
• Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently.
• Prepare packages for shipping according to procedures.
• Move stock and parcels using pallet jacks.
• Record damaged, rejected, or impaired items.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Achieve productivity and quality targets while following health and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Working within a fast-paced warehouse and logistics environment
• Scanning packages using barcode scanners and warehouse systems
• Weighing parcels and completing quality checks to ensure correct labels and packaging
• Sorting packages into the correct categories and outbound areas
• Processing oversized and non-conveyable parcels manually
• Using laptops and warehouse technology to manage parcel information
• Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
• Preparing packages for shipping according to company procedures
• Moving stock and parcels using pallet jacks
• Recording damaged, rejected, or impaired items
• Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
• Achieving productivity and quality targets while following health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is desirable but not essential
