Job summary

Sil-Mid is a warehouse-focused supplier serving the aerospace and aviation sector. We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to receive goods, pick, pack and prepare dispatches, and label items as required. You will maintain stock integrity, place stock in the correct locations, and support our quality processes.

Forklift experience is advantageous, and candidates should be reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment as part of a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a Warehouse or Manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and punctual, with a positive attitude towards work.
• Team player.
• Forklift Licences would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Goods receiving
• Pick, pack and prepare goods for dispatch
• Labelling of items as necessary (barcode labels and CLP labelling)
• Carefully handle all stock to prevent loss / damage
• Putting stock in correct location
• Maintaining the integrity of the stock location software to improve pick efficiency
• Ensure tasks are carried out in compliance with our Quality processes/procedures
• Driving of the forklift in a safe and responsible manner
• Ensure Warehouse is clean and tidy
