Job summary

Boughey Distribution Limited is hiring a Warehouse Operative for our Chester site on a 4 on 4 off day shift, 6am to 6pm. You will pick, pack and dispatch orders, receive goods and maintain safe working practices across a busy warehouse.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience is advantageous but full training will be provided.
• Comfortable on your feet; this role involves lifting and carrying.
• A positive team player with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Picking orders from pick lists and locating stock as required.
• Packing orders ready for dispatch.
• Dispatching goods to customers.
• Completing all paperwork and documents as needed.
• Receiving, checking, and storing products from suppliers safely.
• Reporting shortages and damages to the Team Leader promptly.
• Adhering to Health & Safety policies and promoting welfare.

Due to continued growth, we are expanding our Warehousing teams across our Wardle, Nantwich site working a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern, 6am to 6pm.

Day to Day Responsibilities

• Picking orders from pick lists and locating stock as required
• Packing orders ready for dispatch

• Receiving, checking, and storing products from suppliers in a safe and secure manner
• Reporting shortages and damages to the Team Leader immediately
• Adhering to the Company’s Health & Safety Policy and taking responsibility for safety and welfare of oneself and others
