Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic in Burton, UK, is hiring a Warehouse Operative to join our distribution team. Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will help unload inbound stock and operate FLT to move goods safely.

The role is permanent, 40 hours per week on a rotating two-shift pattern (8am-4pm or 4pm-12am, Monday to Friday), with flexibility to support business needs. Experience with Counterbalance FLT, warehouse FMCG experience, and customer service are preferred; we offer a competitive salary and

Qualifications

• Current and valid Counterbalance FLT licence.
• Experience using FLT in a warehouse setting.
• Experience working in a warehouse for a fast-moving consumer goods company.
• Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound stock.
• Unload HGV on return.
• Operate FLT and clamp truck to move stock safely.
• Apply safe manual handling when loading/unloading.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week. Working on a 2 shift rotating pattern. Either 8am to 4pm or 4pm to 12am on a Monday to Friday basis. Flexibility required to work outside of these hours to suit business needs.

About the role:

Role Responsibilities:

• Unloading inbound stock.
• Unloading HGVupon return.
• Using an FLT and Clamp Truck to safely move stock.
• Using safe manual handling techniques when loading and unloading HGV.
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all procedures

Experience and Key Attributes:

• Current and valid CounterbalanceFLT Licence
• Experience using FLT
• Experience working within a warehouse for an FMCG
• Customer Service
