Job summary

Riverford is recruiting for a Wholesale Skilled Operative to join its employee-owned wholesale operation at Lower Dean. The role supports the Wholesale Site Manager in ensuring orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately while maintaining quality, productivity and customer service.

Based in Dean Court, you will work a 40-hour week, Sunday to Thursday, 6:00am to 2:30pm on a 3-month secondment, with a daytime shift pattern and a strong focus on teamwork and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.
• Assist with the training, onboarding and ongoing development of new and existing team members.

Wholesale Skilled Operative
Location: Dean Court Warehouse 1, Dean Court, Lower Dean, TQ11 0LT
Salary: £14.36 per hour
Shifts: 40 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday, 6:00am to 2:30pm (3-month secondment)

Working within a busy warehouse environment, you will support the Wholesale Site Manager in ensuring wholesale orders are picked, packed and dispatched accurately and efficiently, while helping maintain high standards of quality, productivity and customer service.

About You

Essential:

Desirable:

• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and stock management systems.
• Forklift certification or previous forklift experience.
• A willingness to learn and further develop operational knowledge and skills.
