Job summary

Valeo Foods UK is hiring a Warehouse Operative for their Blackpool site. The role covers loading/unloading deliveries, stock control, and distribution of materials to production. Shift patterns: Mon–Thurs 6‑2 / 2‑10, Fri 6‑1 / 1‑8.

We are seeking proactive, organised individuals to maintain efficient warehouse operations. Experience with forklifts is essential, and FLT or Aisle Master certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload supplies and finished goods.
• Distribute ingredients and materials from warehouse to factory.
• Receive ingredients and materials to site and perform offloads.
• Carry out stock taking and inventory control.
• Support recycling programmes and maintain a clean, tidy warehouse.
• Adhere to health & safety standards and food safety requirements.

Job role – Warehouse Operative

Shifts – Mon‑Thurs 6‑2 / 2‑10, Fri 6‑1 / 1‑8

Location – Blackpool

Job Purpose – We are looking for a proactive, organised and focused Warehouse Operative to join our team in Blackpool to ensure all stocks are updated accurately and timely. It involves loading/unloading deliveries safely and facilitating a seamless supply of materials to the production area.

Key Accountabilities

• To help achieve KPI targets on a consistent basis
• Loading and unloading of supplies and finished goods
• Distribution of ingredients and materials from warehouse to factory
• Offloading and receipt of ingredients and materials to site
• Stock taking and inventory control
• Active involvement in the Company’s recycling programme
• Ensuring the warehouse environment is kept clean and tidy
• Adhering to H&S standards at all times
• To comply with standards of food safety, quality and legality at all times and demonstrating commitment by example

Qualifications

• Forklift experience essential
• FLT or Aisle master certification
