Boughey Distribution is hiring night drivers for our Nantwich site. You will complete vehicle checks, ensure safe delivery of goods around Cheshire, and assist with yard tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid category C&E license is essential.
• Current CPC and tachograph card with a good understanding of driver hours regulations.
• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle checks at start and end of each shift and comply with HGV rules.
• Ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods across Cheshire and surrounding areas.
• Maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions and assist in yard as needed.

Nantwich site working night shifts on a 5 on, 3 off shift pattern.

Day to Day

• Complete vehicle checks at the start and end of each shift –complying with all HGV driving rules throughout your shift to
• ensure there is no unnecessary damage to vehicles
• Ensure safe and prompt delivery of goods across Cheshire and surrounding areas
• Manoeuvring trucks into loading and unloading positions, ensuring loads are secured, provide support in the yard including
• handball or pump truck deliveries where required

What will you bring?

• A valid category C&E license is essential
• Current CPC and tachograph card with a good understanding of driver hours regulations
• Previousexperience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
• Excellent communication skills to be able to handle both customer queries at point of delivery and collaborate effectively with
• the Boughey team on site
