Job summary

Todd Hayes Ltd in Shipdham, Norfolk, is seeking a Warehouse Operative (Days) for a full-time temporary role with potential permanent after 3 months. You will join a small team and handle order picking, packing, loading, and stock control.

The role requires a forklift license (counterbalance preferred), a full UK driving license with access to a vehicle, and the ability to work 06:00–16:30, Monday to Friday, with additional weekend hours during busy periods.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Pick and re-palletise daily orders accurately; manage stock counts.
• Perform manual heavy lifting.
• Carry out and record Daily Safety Inspections for operated mobile plant.
• Ensure finished product is presented to customers in a clean state.
• General housekeeping within warehouse facilities.
• Record damaged bags/rework accurately and promptly.
• Comply with health and safety policies and UFAS obligations.
• Assist customers and help loading/unloading vehicles.
• Provide support and cover for team members.

Warehouse Operative - Days

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Warehouse Operative working for a well-established and prestigious company based in Shipdham, Norfolk.

This is a full-time temporary position, with the potential to become a permanent position after 3 months.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position. The working hours are Monday to Friday 06:00 to 16:30 (weekend working expected during busy periods).

Key Duties

• Picking and re-palletising daily orders accurately, stock counts, to assist with maintaining stock levels and adhering to stock rotation procedures
• Manual heavy lifting.
• Carry out and record Daily Safety Inspections for operated mobile plant.
• Ensuring Finished Product is presented to the customer in a clean and tidy state.
• General housekeeping duties within the Warehouse Facilities
• Ensure damaged bags / rework are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
• Comply with and uphold all aspects of the Company's health & Safety instructions, requirements and policies.
• Work always within the framework and requirements of the Company's obligations to the Universal Feed Assurance Scheme (UFAS)
• Serve Customers and help with loading and unloading vehicles
• Provide support and cover for all team members
