Job summary

Carlsberg Britvic in Bedford is seeking a Warehouse Operative for a permanent, night-shift role (10pm–6am, Sunday to Thursday). Reporting to the Shift Manager, you will pick cases with a powered pallet truck, unload inbound stock, and assist with loading stock onto drays.

You will uphold health and safety standards, support stock counting, and keep work areas clean. Experience with reach trucks/FLTs and FMCG warehousing, plus good customer service, are desirable.

Qualifications

• Experience operating reach trucks and FLTs.
• Experience in FMCG warehouse environment.
• Strong customer service and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Using a powered pallet truck, pick cases onto pallets for the dray crews, ensuring safe manual handling techniques are always used.
• Unloading inbound stock where necessary.
• Using an FLT to safely assemble and load stock onto drays.
• Holding health and safety at the forefront of all procedures
• Assist with stock counting where required.
• Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy.

Job Title: Warehouse Operative

Location: Bedford, MK41 0LZ

Job Length: Permanent

Working Hours: 40 hours per week. Working on the Night Shift. Starting at 10pm and finishing at 6am on a Sunday to Thursday basis. Flexibility to work outside of these hours and to cover other shifts to suit business needs.
