Job summary

HR GO Group is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Ashford, Kent. The role covers light and heavy lifting within a fast-paced production warehouse, with a pay rate of £12.71 per hour. Two shift patterns are available: 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM. Full training and long-term opportunities are provided.

Candidates should have prior warehouse experience, good physical fitness, and a team-focused attitude. Driving may be required depending on the site.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in production or warehouse environments is preferred.
• Strong physical fitness for lifting, both light and heavy, is required.
• Ability to work across two shift patterns (6:30 AM - 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM).
• Must be able to drive if required by role and site policy.

Responsibilities

• Operate on the production line in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Light Lifter Role:

• Operate on the production line in a fast-paced environment, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Handle light packaging tasks, including moving lighter products with precision and care.
• Maintain quality control standards by inspecting products as they move through the production line.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily production targets.

Heavy Lifter Role:

• Perform manual lifting and moving of heavier products within the warehouse.
• Responsibilities include shovelling rubbish and maintaining a clean warehouse environment.
• Move and pack heavy bottles and other materials as required.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations while performing manual work.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in production or warehouse environments, particularly in fast-paced settings.
• Strong physical fitness for heavy lifting roles; must be able to lift and move heavy items as needed.
• Ability to complete both shift patterns (6:30 AM - 2:30 PM and 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM).
