Job summary

The Best Connection is seeking a Warehouse Operative in Sittingbourne, Kent. You will accurately pick, pack and dispatch customer orders in a fast-paced, team-based environment, maintaining quality, safety and efficiency.

Hours are 6AM–2PM, Monday to Friday, with weekly pay, on-site parking and training provided. Forklift licences are advantageous but not essential; there is overtime potential and a chance for a permanent position for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders using barcode scanners and paper pick lists.
• Working as part of a team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time.
• Recording picked products and stock information accurately.
• Packing and preparing orders for dispatch.
• Labelling goods for UK and export deliveries.
• Loading vehicles ready for distribution.
• Replenishing warehouse stock and storage areas.
• Assisting with goods-in activities when required.
• Completing warehouse paperwork and load documentation.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Carrying out daily pre-use equipment checks.

Location: Sittingbourne, Kent

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Job Type: Full-Time, Temporary to Permanent Opportunity

Hours: Monday to Friday

6AM - 2PM

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a busy and growing warehouse operation in Sittingbourne. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

You will be responsible for accurately picking, packing and dispatching customer orders while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Picking customer orders using barcode scanners and paper pick lists
• Working as part of a team to ensure orders are completed accurately and on time
• Recording picked products and stock information accurately
• Packing and preparing orders for dispatch
• Labelling goods for UK and export deliveries
• Loading vehicles ready for distribution

Equipment Used

Training will be provided where required, but duties may involve the use of:

Candidate Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience preferred
