Job summary

Evri in Runcorn is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead a busy sort centre team and keep the operation moving.

You will manage a 30+ strong team, plan resources, monitor KPIs, and drive safety and performance in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading 20+ colleagues in a warehouse/logistics environment.
• Strong people leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with planning resources around forecast volumes.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety standards and procedures.

Operations Supervisor – Runcorn Sort Centre

Location: Runcorn
Full Time 40 hrs per week | Permanent Mon- Fri 05:00-13:30pm

Lead the team that keeps our operation moving

We’re looking for an experienced people leader to join our busy Runcorn Sort Centre.

This is a hands‑on operational leadership role where you’ll take responsibility for a team of 30+ colleagues, helping to deliver a safe, efficient and high‑performing shift.

If you’ve led teams in a warehouse, logistics, parcel, mail or manufacturing environment and enjoy bringing the best out of people while keeping a fast‑paced operation on track, this could be a great next step.

What you’ll be doing

What we’re looking for

You’ll ideally bring:

• At least one year’s experience in a Supervisor, Team Manager, Shift Manager or acting leadership role.
• Experience leading 20+ colleagues in a warehouse, logistics, parcel, mail or manufacturing environment.
• Strong people leadership skills and the confidence to motivate a large operational team.
• Experience in resource planning, workforce deployment and performance management.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
• A proactive approach to improving performance and ways of working.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
