Job summary

Office Angels in Haywards Heath is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee day-to-day receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time.

You will coordinate domestic and international shipments, maintain stock control, perform cycle counts and audits, and supervise warehouse staff with a safety-first approach.

This full-time role pays £32k-£35k DOE and offers the chance to contribute to KPI improvements in a busy distribution operation.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, logistics, or distribution operations.
• Working knowledge of shipping and transport documentation.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with stock control, inventory management, and warehouse admin.
• Effective cross‑department communication.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
• Proactive, hands-on approach with commitment to health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day receipt, storage and dispatch of goods, ensuring orders are processed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate domestic and international shipments, preparing and reviewing transport and shipping documentation.
• Support inventory management through stock control, cycle counts, and annual audits.
• Monitor warehouse performance, investigating stock discrepancies, loss, or damage where required.
• Supervise and support warehouse staff, allocating workload and promoting safe working practices.
• Ensure shipments are correctly packed, labelled, and prepared for transportation in line with customer and operational requirements.
• Contribute to operational improvements, departmental KPIs, and month-end administrative activities.
