Job summary

Advanced Supply Chain Group, based in Bradford, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a high-volume returns operation and drive performance across warehouse and distribution processes. The role reports to the General Manager and oversees Team Managers, with a Monday–Friday 2pm–10pm shift.

You will manage a dynamic team, champion safety and cost control, and enable continuous improvement within a fast-paced retail logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Ability to coach and develop a high-performing team.
• Strong people-management and communication skills.
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety practices in warehousing.
• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles and practical application.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Oversee returns movement and ensure smooth flow across departments.
• Drive performance and maintain high operational standards across logistics processes.
• Lead and develop Team Managers within warehouse and distribution functions.
• Develop, implement, and review Standard Operating Procedures for consistency and improvement.
• Manage daily operational costs and contribute to P&L performance.
