GSF Car Parts is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a team of Warehouse Operatives and Delivery Drivers, oversee goods in/out, and ensure efficient processes to meet productivity targets. You will manage stock checks, plan weekly workloads, coordinate with drivers, and support the branch manager.

Qualifications

• Experience managing warehouse/operations in a fast-paced environment.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

• Customer and sales focus with a proactive approach.
• Familiarity with MAM software is desirable but not essential.

Responsabilités

• Lead Warehouse Operatives and Delivery Drivers to meet productivity targets.
• Oversee Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control processes.
• Prepare and load van/carrier for timely deliveries as required.
• Ensure stock quantities match computer records and perform regular checks.
• Support the branch manager with holidays, sickness cover, and weekly planning.
• Assist with PARC KPI reporting and performance reviews.
• Create a positive environment where staff can grow and excel.

About The Role

As Operations Manager at GSF Car Parts, you are responsible for motivating and leading a team of Warehouse Operatives and Delivery Drivers. As Operations Manager, you will oversee the warehouse processes and systems in order to ensure goods are received and dispatched appropriately, and that productivity targets are met.

Main Duties Include

• Manage the organisation and performance to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the Goods In, Goods Out, Returns and Stock Control departments
• Pick and load van / carrier accurately for timely customer delivery when required
• Check stock quantities are correct against computer
• Use personal judgment and initiative to develop effective and constructive solutions to challenges and obstacles
• Ensure the operational functions of the Warehouse run smoothly and assist the branch manager with; holidays/sickness cover, preparing weekly plans, developing the warehouse team and work with Drivers to ensure the best delivery service for customers.
• Assist the General Manager with PARC report KPI's
• Create a positive and supportive environment where employees are valued and can reach their true potential

Working Hours

45 (average) hours Monday to Friday, including alternate Saturday working

About You

As Operations Manager, you will have a great track record of managing a warehouse, ideally gained within a fast-paced environment such as FMCG.
