The role involves coordinating daily activities, following SOPs, and collaborating with inventory, transport, and safety teams to maintain service levels and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day running of warehouse activities to meet operational targets.
• Monitor workflow, allocate tasks, and adjust priorities to maintain productivity.
• Ensure all processes, SOPs, and work instructions are followed.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement throughput improvements.
• Support planning teams with labour allocation and shift readiness.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture and policies.
• Conduct safety checks and investigations as needed.
• Provide clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to the team.
• Manage attendance, performance concerns, and onboarding of new staff.
• Champion continuous improvement and change management initiatives.
• Communicate shift plans and progress to supervisors and other departments.
