Job summary

Albert Bartlett is seeking a Warehouse Operative to support onsite inventory control and ERP stock reconciliations at our site in the UK. The role operates on a 4 days on, 4 days off rolling shift from 06:00 to 18:00, with a pay rate of £13.96 per hour.

You will work with the production and logistics teams to manage stock, ensure accurate counts, and maintain safe, clean storage areas across all warehouse zones. FLT/PPT licences and a proactive, flexible approach are essential.

Qualifications

• FLT licence and PPT licence required or advantageous
• Food Safety Level 2 or above is advantageous
• Excellent communication across all staff levels
• Numerate and literate with good basic maths
• Team player with own initiative and a flexible approach
• Willing to learn and adapt to a warehouse environment
• Previous experience in a warehouse/logistics role is beneficial

Responsibilities

• Support control of onsite inventory for raw materials and finished goods; ensure accurate stock checks and feed information to site teams
• Reconcile RM and FG stocks daily on ERP; highlight variances and follow up actions
• Lead regular stock reviews to minimize miss-picks and obsolete stock
• Maintain hygiene standards across freezer, dry goods, despatch, loading bays and yard; keep machinery and equipment clean
• Coordinate with Production leads to align packing plans with loading priorities
• Report mechanical issues to Engineering to keep intake, despatch and equipment operating efficiently
• Assist with training of team members and maintain training records for HR and training teams
• Oversee loading processes to ensure efficient turnaround and timely communication with Production and Supply Chain
• Ensure ERP processes are carried out correctly by all teams
• Manage empty equipment and ensure safe, tidy storage and daily inspections
