Job summary

Bleckmann is recruiting for a warehouse operative in the United Kingdom. This permanent, full-time role covers 4 on 4 off shifts from 06:00–18:00 and 18:00–06:00, rotating weekly.

The position offers £12.91 per hour, plus an annual shift allowance of £3,900, with strong opportunities to grow within a global back‑stage logistics team. Responsibilities include receiving, picking, packing, stock replenishment, loading/unloading, and maintaining safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Good understanding of warehouse operations and processes.
• Strong awareness of health and safety requirements within a warehouse environment.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Reliable, flexible, and willing to work rotating shifts.
• Good attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
• Takes personal responsibility for work quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, check, and store incoming stock.
• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch.
• Replenish stock locations as required.
• Load and unload vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
• Carry out stock checks and inventory activities when required.
• Ensure all products are handled and stored correctly to prevent damage.
• Operate warehouse equipment in accordance with training and company procedures.
• Complete all tasks in line with operational targets and deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
• Identify and report hazards, damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
• Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and management to achieve operational objectives.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse operation.
