Part of the Distribution Centre Management Team

Provide great services to our stores, ensuring customers have excellent product availability and standards by leading a team of colleagues who feel safe and enjoy working at Tesco, while operating an efficient and compliant Warehouse Service operation.

You will be responsible for:
  1. Managing your team to deliver accurate warehouse routines and standards aligned with the operating model.
  2. Supporting the end-to-end supply chain process by collaborating to resolve supplier issues.
  3. Prioritising and executing seasonal, trade, and promotional events to maximise sales, including resource and equipment planning.
  4. Collaborating with Warehouse Service Team and Shift Managers to ensure best-in-class operating procedures that meet store needs.
  5. Leading your team through coaching, support, and sharing best practices to meet or exceed targets efficiently.
  6. Focusing on delivering accurate goods to stores to improve product availability and customer satisfaction.
  7. Using people routines and leadership to meet colleagues' needs and foster a positive environment.
  8. Executing operational routines and making customer-focused decisions.
  9. Partnering with the Distribution Centre Management team and acting as a role model.
  10. Analyzing data to identify root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  11. Maintaining high standards across all warehouse areas, including Goods In, Assembly, OTB, FLT, and Goods Out.
  12. Being proactive in problem-solving and coaching colleagues in real-time.
  13. Working closely with the Delivery Service Team to meet transport plans.
  14. Making management decisions as referred by Warehouse Service Coordinators for customer and Tesco benefit.
  15. Adhering to the Business Code of Conduct and Data Protection Law, acting with integrity and diligence.

We are recruiting for a Full-Time Night Shift (22:00 - 6:00, 5 days out of 7 including weekends). Benefits include:
