Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a Warehouse MHE Operative for our Northampton DC7 site (NN4 9EX). This full-time, permanent role offers 5 out of 7 shifts with patterns 14:00-22:00 or 22:00-06:00.

You will operate a forklift, load/unload pallets, and ensure accurate stock placement while following safety procedures. We offer competitive hourly rates (£12.71 base, £15.61 afternoon, £16.61 night) with holiday entitlement, a pension, and access to our Happy Up discounts platform.

Qualifications

• Experience operating a Reach Truck or VNA.
• Good physical fitness for daily warehouse duties.
• Basic IT literacy and ability to use warehouse systems.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to work in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely within drive-in racking systems.
• Load, unload, and move pallets to storage or dispatch areas.
• Ensure accurate stock placement and retrieval following procedures.
• Carry out daily forklift checks and report faults or safety issues.
