What will I be doing?
The Logistics & Warehouse Manager is responsible for the effective leadership and development of our warehouse teams to guarantee that products and services consistently meet customer requirements, uphold quality standards, and comply with airworthiness authority regulations.
This role demands strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) legislation, as well as Company Operating Systems, policies, and procedures.
The Manager must embody the Company's Values and Behaviours, serving as a role model to the team while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
The position requires a dynamic and experienced individual who can guide the team towards achieving operational goals efficiently and effectively, ensuring that both internal processes and customer service standards are maintained at the highest level.
Overall, the purpose of the role is to ensure the smooth running of warehouse operations, while promoting professional growth within the team and enhancing the organisation's overall performance and compliance with regulatory standards.

Leadership and Development:
*Lead and motivate the Warehouse team to achieve high performance and professional growth.
*Conduct Performance Development Reviews (PDRs) and assess team member performance regularly, fostering expertise for current and future projects.
*Implement individual and team goals and objectives aligned with the Operations Road Map, measurable through leading indicators.
Operational Excellence:
*Ensure team operations comply with established procedures, processes, and relevant documentation.
*Develop individual skills within the team, establishing competence and confidence.
*Promote and enforce physical and electronic 5S initiatives, conducting regular reviews to ensure compliance.
Strategic and Project Management:
*Lead and manage projects to optimise warehouse operations.
*Formalise the GDSI inspection and engine packing processes to achieve standardisation and efficiency.
*Implement and oversee sorting and storage practices to enhance space utilisation.
*Review Document archiving practices and ensure compliance to SAFRAN standards
Process Improvement and Compliance:
*Regularly review and enhance existing processes and procedures to further operational excellence.
*Implement robust scrap management strategies to minimise waste and recover value.
*Ensure document retention processes are robust and well-established for compliance and operational support.

What do you need from me?
* Proven experience in warehouse management.
* Strong understanding of HSE legislation and compliance requirements.
* Strong leadership capabilities and ability to motivate a team.
*Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously.
* Ability to foster a collaborative team environment that encourages learning and development.
* Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
* Warehouse Management: Significant experience in managing warehouse operations, with a comprehensive understanding of the various processes involved in supply chain management.
* Team Leadership: Proven track record of leading and developing teams, including motivating staff, conducting performance assessments, and implementing team goals.
* Compliance and Regulation: Experience in ensuring operations meet regulatory standards, specifically with regard to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) legislation and airworthiness authority regulations.
* Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage and lead multiple projects, particularly those aimed at optimising warehouse processes.
* Continuous Improvement: Experience in implementing continuous improvement strategies, such as 5S initiatives, to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
* Process Improvement: Ability to review, develop, and enhance procedures to align with best practices and regulatory requirements.
* Problem Solving: Experience in identifying issues, analysing root causes, and developing effective solutions in a fast-paced environment.
