Job summary

Michael Page is representing a growing UK manufacturer recruiting a Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor for their new site in Rotherham. You will oversee the day-to-day warehouse operations, manage goods in/out, stock bookings in the ERP, and forklift truck activities across site.

The role involves coordinating inbound/outbound logistics, maintaining accurate stock records, performing regular stock counts, and working with Production, Planning and Procurement to support the production plan and

Qualifications

Experience in warehouse or manufacturing environments.
Experience supervising or coordinating warehouse activities.
Good understanding of stock control and inventory management.
Experience organizing inbound and outbound logistics.
Comfortable using ERP/stock management systems to maintain stock and logistics records.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Counterbalance and Narrow Aisle Forklift Truck licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

Overall responsibility for day-to-day operation of the warehouse and logistics function.
Ensure materials and finished goods are received, stored, handled and dispatched safely and efficiently.
Plan and coordinate inbound deliveries and outbound collections to support production and customer requirements.
Ensure materials are available to production and finished goods are ready for dispatch per delivery dates.
Maintain accurate stock records and ensure stock movements are recorded in the ERP system.
Carry out regular stock counts and investigate stock discrepancies.
Ensure lifting equipment and warehouse gear are operated safely with inspections completed.
Collaborate with Production, Planning, Procurement and Quality to ensure smooth factory operation.
